Hello my name is Kyla, I am a gentle parent and homeschooling mother to two young women. I enjoy teaching, nurturing, and learning with the younger generations, feeling as though I am a student of life and would truly add to the betterment of everyone involved. I was previously employed as a camp counselor and babysitter throughout college, then later moved to Oregon as a live in nanny to a young man diagnosed with autism. I served as a supportive educator during his younger years and have experience as a round the clock caregiver. The past few years I have homeschooled my own children along with returning to college to excel my knowledge surrounding subjects of health, naturalism, and psychology. During my free time I enjoy time with family and friends, reading, studying natural healing modalities, hiking, yoga, gardening, cooking, crafting. Learning through challenges and failures creates resilience. Allowing space to explore curiosities and personal interests to enhance potential development geared towards one’s individualization. Opening the soul to self agency. Encouraging creativity and unique ideas and skills. My intention is to establish harmony and a safe space through presence as a stable, grounding, and encouraging guide to nurture their learning journey. My values align with loving oneself, spreading kindness, communicate effectively, sharing knowledge, competence in everyday life skills, and holding a healthy reverence for all life. Children are important, worthy of being heard and respected no matter their age. Success is based on a foundation of self worth self love and healthy confidence. Children are deserving of compassion and to explore their individuality without fear of judgement. I am compassionate and respectfully accept all as they are. Which allows me to resolve conflict as I lead through action, I am a calm and clear communicator, as well I am flexible to the unexpected, and open to consideration of the needs of everyone.
