Hello! My name is Katelyn, I have recently moved to Salem from Santa Cruz, California. I am attending an online Post Bacc program through Portland State University in Communication Sciences and Disorders with hopes to soon apply to graduate school to study Speech Language Pathology. I have many years experience working with children of all ages in educational settings as well as 10 plus years as a nanny and regular babysitter. I love to play and learn with children and genuinely enjoy facilitating enriching environments and stimulating imaginative, creative play. I am very comfortable being active outdoors with children as well as helping with homework, facilitating room cleaning/organization, meal planning and cooking. I am very comfortable with your furry friends and am happy to take them for walks. I am bilingual English/Spanish (English is my first language) and if you would like me to teach your children some basic Spanish, Read more I am happy to do so! I do not currently have a vehicle, but I do have a clean driving record and an Oregon license. I often get around by bicycle. I do not have an up to date CPR certification but I have been certified many times in my life and still retain the knowledge.
