I’ve helped raise children of people who started as strangers & are now close family friends—many since birth—and have stayed closely connected with those families as the kids have grown. That personal, long-term involvement has been incredibly meaningful to me and is the same relationship I would wish for my own kiddos when introducing a new face into my home. While I’m no longer actively coaching, I spent over 10 years coaching and that experience really helped me build a strong connection and understanding of how to communicate, encourage, and support kids of all ages. I have a strong medical background (CPR, First Aid, BLS, EMT-P) and currently work part-time at OHSU (Portland) with the OHSU DPS Emergency Communications Center.
