Hello my name is Katherine. I am a recent graduate from Portland State University. For four years I worked towards my English degree while playing softball for my school, during school my schedule prevented me from gaining more experience. However, I had opportunities in the summer time babysitting for families as well as working for a great program called OCDC (Oregon Child Development Coalition). I worked with other members at a day care facility for the local migrant workers' children, age ranges were 4 months to 6 years old. Monday-Saturday from about 4am to 3pm. Hours usually varried by day. I love children and have plans to teach after I complete my masters. Nannying fits in with my schedule and exposes me to more opportunities with children.
