Hello, my name is Maytee, pronounced (MY-deh), but I also go by Mimi. I am interested in the position because helping the innocent around me comes naturally. I have almost two decades of babysitting and nannying experience, both professionally and personally. I am pursuing an early-education associate degree at the University of Phoenix. I have also attained a Birthing Doula certification and an associate degree in Alternative Health studies. I have attended multiple First Aid, AED, and CPR classes and fire safety training. Regarding childcare, my priorities are safety, comfort, and education. My goal is to ensure the entire family feels comfortable with me and feels my positive intention. I prioritize communication with guardians to make sure I am helping their children to the best of my ability with respect. I am good with multiple children and de-escalating situations where a child might not know how to communicate their feelings Read more appropriately. I work well under pressure, and this includes family pets as well. I have been in charge of transporting children to school or activities. I help with household duties, including cooking, cleaning, and more. I am a terrific nanny because I take pride in being a positive role model to everyone around me.
