I have taken many child care courses throughout my high school career. I have even taught and "worked" at a daycare program that my school offered. I always knew that I wanted to work with children and watching them learn and grow during this program assured me that this is what I want to do. Apart from that I have watched my little step sister countless times as well as babysitting for a family friend. Now that their kids are all grown up I dog sit and house sit for them. We have always kept in contact and have never run into any issues. While, I never got certified I would be willing to take those courses in order to be if needed. I am in college for social work so this would further my ability to understand children in their natural environment.
