Hi! My name is Ciara and I live in Culver City! I have lived in La since 2020. I drove across the country during the pandemic from Pennsylvania for better opportunities (and weather) I absolutely love it here. In 2017 I graduated with my bachelors degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I got a BA in Fashion Merchandising and minored in marketing. I am an extremely hard worker and have maintained 2-3 jobs since I was 16. Over the past few years I have been working in multiple realms— I have 10 years of hospitality experience varying from bartender to assistant restaurant manager (can do anything under the sun in a restaurant) and also have 4 years of retail management experience with Nordstrom. I managed the Kids-wear and kids shoes department as well as the junior department (YC/top shop/TBD) I currently am a full time assistant buyer for Burlington stores, Read more but looking for a career change. On top of the above, I have babysit on and off for family members / family friends since I was 12 years old. I am the oldest of four sisters. I was 7 when my family started to expand so luckily I got to help and watch them grow. I have worked with children ranging from newborn babies to teenagers 16+. I have babysit families ranging in sizes from 1 child to 4. I would love to nanny full time in 2022. Throughout high school I babysat frequently as well as a few years into college and weekends in my adult life. I am a creative and fun loving individual who is full of energy. While I was at university I was fortunate enough to work with young high schoolers interested in fashion. I also volunteered weekly at the local preschool in college to read to preschoolers, and be as a “teachers assistant” I truly understand the delicate balance of juggling school, jobs, extracurricular activities, and hobbies. When I attended IUP, I maintained a 18 credit school schedule, worked 4 days a week as a server, and was highly involved in the Fashion merchandising club. My experiences in time management and many areas of interest I believe allows me to connect with more people. I believe that learning through exploration, art, reading, self expression, nature, and outdoor observations offers each child a rich experience. It would be an honor to meet your family and work with you to create a positive impact on these children's lives.
