Hello! My name is Michèlah, but since my name is rather hard to pronounce, I usually go by my nickname, Shay. For as long as I can remember I have been working with children. In fact, one could say working with kiddos (especially ones that are preschool age) is my calling! Since I graduated high school in May 2014, I have worked in numerous local childcare programs/facilities; such as The YWCA of Gettysburg (TLC), Back To Basics Daycare, LIU (Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12), and programs such as SFY (Strengthening Families Program) and CFY (Collaborating for Youth). My current job is as a PCA with Right At Home Agency and as a part-time Nanny. This past August, I also passed Hacc's 120 accredited CNA course. My goal in earning this certification is to be able to provide even better care for children who may need more medical attention than others.
