Hi, my name is Jody! For starters, I am 52 years old, have been married for 32 years, and have 2 pretty awesome adult sons. I am super excited about becoming a first-time grandma by the end of the summer. While raising my boys, I mostly worked full-time as an office manager. When my boys were very young, I decided to stay home with them for a couple of years and babysat various children in my home. While I loved taking care of children, I had to return to work outside the home as my husband's work was unstable. While working full-time I managed the household chores, and cooked healthy balanced meals/snacks, assisted with homework, shuttled the kids to practices/games, and still managed to have family fun nights! In 2021, I was between jobs due to the pandemic and had the opportunity to take care of a 1-year-old on a Read more part-time basis. I loved taking care of William. We played games, read books, and learned at least 1 new word each day we spent together. Our time together ended when his dare care opened back up. I then returned back to being an office manager . Between my experience raising my own children and helping others with theirs, I feel that I can be a great help to you and your family.
