My name is Rose and I am super excited to be looking for work during my gap year! I’ve spent this past year at an arts boarding school with the intention of being a professional bassoonist (a long tube that sounds like beautiful farts), but felt the world pulling me a different way. I hope to study environmental and cultural reform at a preferably overseas university, but in the mean time work as a nanny/ house manager while living with my grandma! I have lots of experience with kids; I regularly babysat for a few families pre-pandemic, and was a group class figure skating teacher for two years in early high school. Through that job especially, I learned so much about the responsibility side of caretaking and that every child’s needs are unique.
