Hi, my name is Bridgett. I just moved to PA and am so excited to start working with a family in the area. In the past I have worked with an adorable little girl, she was 4 months old when we started, and it was one of the most rewarding jobs I have ever had. I worked with her parents to maintain her daily schedule; feedings, naps, playtime, etc. At the same time I did light housework, cooked meals for the family, and cared for their two large dogs. I have varied experience and have worked with children from infancy to preschool age. I am passionate about caring for children, it isn’t just a job to me. When I am in the home, I make sure the kids in my care not only have their basic needs met, but are stimulated and loved. I take them to the park, we do art projects, I involve them Read more however I can! If they are old enough it is always fun to cook together, and of COURSE we read, read, read. It is important to me to have a positive relationship with parents, as well, including open communication. I know schedules are important, and I want you to know, we would be on a team. You’re kids would be my main priority! I am STARS certified in child care, soon to be CPR certified, healthy, cook/prepare nutritious meals, love to bake, love animals, have no problems with housecleaning, and I like to focus on playing outside, reading, arts and crafts or doing anything education with the children I care for. Now for a little about me. I am 27 years old, engaged to my best friend, and stepmom to an incredible five year old, Oliver. Having watched him grow from a toddler to a smart, enthusiastic little man, has been such an honor. He has helped me grow, and showed me what unconditional love is. My goal now is to find a family who is looking for someone to grow with them. I would love to stay with someone long term, and carry my love for children through all aspects of my life.
