I am a very energetic and creative person who loves music and children. I enjoy singing and creating music in the hopes that it will be uplifting to others. I grew up in foster care and was adopted by an amazing family. I chose to give back and became a Therapeutic Foster Parent for PA Mentor for two years and was able to care for 2 young girls during that time. I enjoy the excitement and fun of working with children. I believe that I have so much to offer and would be a great and creative helper in a family’s home. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I cannot escape my love for working with children. I feel that children are precious gifts to the world. They are impressionable and thus should be handled with care and given our best efforts of time and affection. My goal as a Nanny is to bring out the best in each child by helping them academically, creatively, and socially. My goal is also to assure each parent that their child is in great hands. I want to work alongside them to help meet their goals for their children. I am willing to do light housekeeping at the parent’s requests including laundry and meal prep. Other reasonable request will be considered as well. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am creative, loving, resourceful, energetic, and helpful. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include homework help, reading, creative play, and music. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be full of life, love, and laughter. They would also be down to earth and love the arts.
