I'm currently trained as a patient care assistant at an assisted living home for the elderly in Clarence Twn, NY. I am responsible for hygiene intervention, entertaining, and assisting elderly with dementia. This job has taught me an incredible amount of patience and perseverance when providing care. I also work at Niagara University as a community advisory, also known as an RA. In this position I am responsible for the well being of 60 residents which entails crisis analysis, drug and alcohol awareness/ prevention programs, and assisting residents with a variety of mental health situations and providing resources. I have babysat throughout high school and college children between 3mo-8 years old. I have also tutored children in many different subjects for school such as comprehensive reading, mathematics, science, and history. My future career goals are to become a pediatric nurse practitioner.
