When I was 11 years old, I took a babysitting course at Red Cross and have been babysitting ever since!! I am CPR certified (multiple times), and have also been trained for the Heimlich maneuver for kids. I also have all my clearances (FBI background and fingerprinting, child abuse, tuberculin test). I've babysat for many families, many of whom I developed relationships with through my church nursery. I have a lot of experiences primarily with newborns and the preschool age. I am currently twenty- years old and majoring in psychology and minoring in early childhood development and sociology. I am in my junior year of college at the University of Pittsburgh and I live on campus! I know that I want to pursue a career and dedicate my life to helping kids. I have my child abuse clearances. I am comfortable with pets, I myself have three (2 dogs and Read more a cat). I have a lot of experience with kids. I have a niece and a nephew, ages 4-years-old and 8-months-old. I have helped out in my church nursery, have been babysitting for years, and helped out in a daycare with kids of all ages. I love kids and the energy they bring to the table! I am hardworking, I enjoy cleaning so I would have no problem tidying up, especially after we play. I enjoy music, arts and crafts, and playing outdoors when the weather allows! Over this past summer I worked with a family of four children (ages 4, 6, 10, and 11) and a puppy. ! Currently, I work with a family after school for a girl, age 7, and a boy age 11 and another family on their occasional Saturday date nights, with a daughter age 2-years-old and son aged 4-months-old. I get out of classes at the end of April and available all throughout the summer until end of August!
