Hi, I'm Liz. I recently moved to Manayunk and am looking for a part-time babysitting position. I will also be available for occasional babysitting on weekends and evenings. I'm a graduate of Ithaca College where I studied Speech Therapy, which gave me a lot of experience working in schools, experience with children with disabilities & a lot of patience! I've held a full-time nannying position for the past two years and also have experience as a camp counselor. When babysitting, I like to engage the kids in creative activities and love going outside whenever possible. Because of my Speech background, I also like to focus on language and reading, especially with younger children. Personally, I am a very active, positive and adaptable person. If it sounds like I could be a good fit for your family, please feel free to message me with any questions. I look forward to hearing Read more from you!

Elizabeth babysat for my 10 1/2 month old baby while I was visiting the area for a wedding. My baby was in the throes of separation and stranger anxiety, so I was quite nervous about how she would do with a new babysitter. To my amazement, she went to Elizabeth right away without any issue and the next couple hours went by as well as could be. I attribute this unusual turn of events to Elizabeth's caring, warm manner and her willingness to work hard (she walked Isabel around nonstop for a half hour despite the fact that she had to hunch over in order to do so). I was so relieved and happy to have had such a positive babysitting experience. I highly recommend Elizabeth!
