I am number 3 of 9 children. I have been babysitting children and changing diapers since I can remember. At 12 I become a date night babysitter for several families in my neighborhood and the kids' age ranged from 6 months-8years. At 14 I did my first nanny job and since 2012 I have been a full time nanny, watching kids from 6am-5 p.m. I am okay with any animal, and have probably owned any you can think of. I have a lot experience with nannying infants/todders, I know how energetic/curious they can be and how to play with them, and I'm creative myself when it comes to activities. I also come from a huge family and know how to engage and have fun with older children, while still remaining authoritative. For the last 3 years I have been nannying full time, while going to highschool online. I do have really good references, and became part of the family with all of them. I just graduated highschool a year yearly and I'm taking a couple years to just work, I'm just a little tired of schooling after 13 years, but nannying/something with children is what I want to do longterm. So I have not attended college, and if that is something that is really important to you I would understand. I know I am young but I am extremely independent, and a very responsible, reliable and safety conscious person. In a few years I would like to further my education and get a degree in Childhood Education, and make my nannying credentials better. I'm very serious about this career and this is what I want to do longterm, and if it is a good fit would be more than happy to stay with your family as long as you needed. I am extremely flexible with my hours, as this would be pretty much my only focus. I do have a valid drivers license and my own car. I love playing games, reading, taking walks, and just having a fun, interactive time with the children I'm working with, and avoiding the TV. I would try and get as much age appropriate and developmental activities in as I could. I am a good cook, and I love cleaning up as I am a bit of a neat freak, as well.
