Children always take to me readily, maybe because they instinctually know I respect them so much. They are some of the most creative people I know, and I know lots of artists. Actually, I m an artist. I have a degree in Visual Arts, and also some formal training in Music and Dance. I am very enamored of children in their earliest developmental years. My childcare experience is primarily with 1-10 year olds. Recently, I babysat for a 5-year-old boy and a girl when she was 3-4 years of age. I prepared meals for these children, we invented games together, played outdoors, did art/craft projects, read books, and worked on homework together. I've also planned and overseen activity classes for 6-10-year-olds at a church whose focus for children is creativity. The head pastor of this church (which I attended for many years) is one of my references
