As a young girl, my mother would take care of children in her home. I was the best mother’s helper she could have. As I grew into a teenager, I became the one taking care of the children through babysitting jobs, at my church’s nursery, and at summer camp. I went to West Chester University and earned a B.A in Russian. I took several education classes but did not feel that teaching high school Russian was the right fit for me. When I graduated, I applied for a job as an Infant teacher at a day care. I had found my fit! I am very passionate about taking care of children. I try to look at every child through the eyes of their parents. I think, “if this was my child what is it that I would want and expect from the person I am entrusting the care of my Read more child to?” I want parents to not only feel comfortable leaving their child in my care. I also want them to feel confident that I have the knowledge and skills to provide their child with a safe environment and can provide a quality in home early childhood education. To that end I have earned my Childhood Development Associate (CDA) Credential and am four classes away from my AAS in Early Care and Education. I currently have a 4.0 GPA. I have 7 years experiences working professionally with children.
