I am currently involved with AmeriCorps working with an inter-city school as a student teacher. I have successfully created after school programs to encourage independence and confidence, including creative writing club, girls club, board games club and a drama club. My assignment with AmeriCorps is complete in June. I am looking for a 2017 Summer Nanny position. I adore children and spending time having fun and teaching! I work at an elementary school while taking classes. A few years ago I was a fourth grade student teacher at our local elementary school. I will major in Elementary Education in college. In the summer of 2013, I worked as a part-time caretaker for a 14-year-old girl in my community with autism. Also, in the summers of 2010, 2011, and 2012, I organized a weekly summer dance camp/program serving community girls ages from 3 to 13-years-old.
