Hi, My name is Cristina. I have 4 children of my own ages 5-12yrs. I have been a babysitter, nanny, childcare teacher and cook at a handful of daycares in both Maryland and Pennsylvania. I am currently a cook(for the last 8mos) at a daycare with 75 children and am looking to go back to school for nursing or a CNA so I can possibly work with children with physical and mental disabilities in their home, or in a hospital setting in pediatrics. This means I would need to find another job allowing me time at home (or at yours when the kids are napping)to complete school work and attend some classes online. My 4th child will be starting Kindergarten this Fall so I will no longer have my own children at home for 3/4s of the year. I am interested in finding a nanny or babysitting position with 1-4 Read more children. I am also open to a nanny share, caring for a few children from different families in my home, unless one of the families is okay with us coming to theirs. I especially love working with infants and toddlers, but I have experience with all ages. Prior to becoming the cook at my current center, I worked in the infant room for almost a year. I have also worked with infants, toddlers, and 2-3yr olds at a few other centers in prior years between having my own kids from 2009-2019. I have also done in home care for a few families and still occasionally babysit for date nights when people need. I would love to commit to something long term, that would allow me to have steady income while also being able to bond with your child(ren) so I can build a long lasting relationship! In my free time I love to bake, cook, swim(we have an in-ground pool), go to the library, parks, travel with my family finding new places to explore and great food to eat! I would love to take long walks or go on little outings with your children too! I have a current CPR First Aid Certification, and clearances and I can get copies from my file at work, or re do them as its been almost a year since they were renewed. I have also taken several child care classes to keep my training current and I am also looking for more to take. I can work with your child to help them learn just like they would at a center too! I have some experience with children with autism, down syndrome, and other disabilities, as well as food allergies. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your littles! My rates are dependent upon the number of children, hours, distance, and whether you'd like me to provide care and meals in my home ( Our home does have a dog- who can be separated from where your child will play/be crated while we are eating etc, as well as 3 cats who pretty much mind their business.) or yours, helping with your pets, cleaning, laundry etc. I am happy to chat about everything more in depth if you'd like to message me directly!
