I love working with children whether if they are at the infancy stage to toddler stage, toddler to school age, or school age to preteen. Children during infancy and toddler stages are sweet, innocent, and are interpreters. At first is about what they need which is security, comfort, and love. As an aunt of 5 little munchkins, I have been fortunate to help assist with this age and providing these needs as well as providing the toddler stage of wants. There are many different aspects of what a toddler may want and during these few years, it is a good time to teach them boundaries, and discipline. You may think that this is a young age to do so but this is a great age to show them what they can and cannot do, of course, in moderation. I also have experience in behavior modification, and implementing appropriate interventions for Read more children of all ages as I was a therapeutic staff supporter for a program called behavioral health rehabilitation services. By school age, children love the attention and feeling pleased with what they are capable of accomplishing on their own. While growing into school age, children are finding their personality and exploring their social awareness, how to speak with others, how to play with others. They are also sponges at this age trying to absorb all kinds of knowledge. For one of my favorites ages to cater to, I am knowledgeable of educational songs from passed experiences working in elementary schools and daycares. Then for preteens, some enjoy the social interaction, and other prefers privacy. I believe this is where authority and compromise comes in hand.
