I grew up as the oldest of 26 grandchildren and I have been taking care of babies and children of all ages since I was old enough to hold them. I absolutely love kids and I have a deep interest in child learning and development, so I love engaging children in learning geared activities. In addition, I was a double major in biology and psychology in college and I have a well-rounded background that helps me come up with appropriate and engaging activities for children of all ages. I grew up in a swimming family and I was a competitive swimmer for 19 years, so I love being active and spending time outdoors! I was also a studio art minor (ceramics concentration) in college, so I fully enjoy doing crafts and being creative with all of the children that I watch and I have watched in the past. I've been Read more CPR and First aid certified for the last 6 years and I worked as an open water lifeguard that entire time, so I have great attention to detail and I can react on a moment's notice. I enjoy doing housework, and I would be happy to help out with cleaning, laundry, dinners and etc. I also have reliable transportation and a clean driving record. I have four pets (cats) of my own and I adore all animals, and I also have experience in animal training and I would be completely comfortable with pets of any kind. I'm really looking for a long-term commitment with a family that I can learn and grow with!
