I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Drexel University and have 6+ years of experience working with children ranging in age from 6 months to 19 years old as both a babysitter and psychology major at Drexel. I have always been drawn to working with children because they are so much fun and great teachers. Through my work and education experience, I gained social development, organization, and care taking skills that would help me succeed as a nanny. As a Student Co-leader working at an elementary school in Northeast Philadelphia, I helped implement a social skills and behavioral support program for at-risk youth. By engaging children in a variety of games, songs, and arts and crafts activities, I taught them about managing their anger and communicating effectively so that they can succeed in school and social settings. Most recently, I work as a Data Analyst at Magee Rehabilitation Hospital. Read more There, I acquired strong organizational and time management skills in order to meet demanding deadlines. I learned how to measure and assess patient safety data relating to patient falls and medication reconciliation. I have also worked as a pharmacy technician at CVS/Pharmacy and gained extensive knowledge of medications in a healthcare setting. I also have experience taking care of children of all ages by babysitting for various families throughout high school. From an early age, I have enjoyed working with children to take care of their everyday needs but also engage them in fun and educational activities.
