For the past 5 years I have been a home economics teacher at the middle and high school level. Although I still hold my teaching certificate I've decided to take some time off from teaching to pursue other interests. I graduated from college with a degree in Family Consumer Science Education and studied subjects such as nutrition, child development & family dynamics. In the summers & in between jobs, I have also worked as a nanny on multiple occasions--twice for twin infants, once for two girls ages 3 & 4. I am one of seven children in a very close family & I now have 9 nieces and nephews so I'm used to lots of activity. I love reading and spending time outside and enjoy cooking, playing games and doing crafts as well. Prior to starting my last nanny job in February of 2014 I was certified in First Aid/CPR Read more & infant CPR.
