Greetings! My name is Madelyn Hailstones and I’m excited to apply for the childcare position you have available. I’ve been passionate about working with children for as long as I can remember, and I bring both professional training and hands-on experience to the role. I volunteered at a daycare for two years before transitioning into a paid position, where I’ve been working for the past 11 months. I hold a CDA certificate and completed a three-year Early Childhood Education program at a vocational-technical school. I also have all my clearances and CPR + first aid certificates. These experiences have given me a strong foundation in child development, safety, and nurturing care. In addition to my professional background, I’ve helped care for my younger brother throughout his life—he has special needs, which has taught me patience, flexibility, and how to adapt care to meet individual needs.
