Hi! My name is Kayla, I am 21 years old and have babysat and nannied since I was 15. Nannying is absolutely the most fufilling job I have ever had, and I'm passionate about working with families to ensure that their child is happy and getting as much support as they need. A little about me, I love being outside, and in my free time I love to hike and paddleboard. As a nanny, I really value outside time and creativity in the outdoors. I also love music, and I play guitar and sing. I also love to incorporate that with the kids I work with. One of the previous families I worked with had a 2 year old child, and we practiced learning "Take me home, country roads" by John Denver to show their parents. It was a fun project that they really enjoyed, and their parents got a Read more kick out of it. In poor weather, or to break up the day- I put a lot of effort into crafts and other indoor activities to make sure each child is stimulated throughtout the day. A big priority to me is ensuring the safety of the child/children, and making sure their emotional needs are met. It is also very important to me to work with the parents to ensure their values and priorities for their children are at the forefront of care. I have previously been certified for CPR and if preferred would have no issue getting an updated certification.
