For the last two years I was blessed to have taken care and helped out an older gentleman and his wife. He was battling cancer and unfortunately lost his battle last month. I helped him and his wife with their grandchildren when they were over as well as did the daily household chores like laundry, vacuuming, cleaning, and dusting. I also worked in the kids daycare at Golds Gym which entailed keeping the kids active and engaged while their parents were out working out. During my senior year of college I interned at Phil Haven with their day program which consisted of children who were between the ages of 6 and 12. These children were unable to be in a normal classroom due to their behavior, so we worked one on one with the children trying to help them focus on the work that was presented to them, as well Read more as giving them the opportunities to talk to us about their turmoil that was causing them to act inappropriately in a normal classroom setting. Since I don't have any children of my own to take care of and only two furry roommates I have plenty of time to help out someone who has a busy household and could just use a helping hand with whatever needs done.
