My name is Kylie. I am 28 years old, in grad school for social work, and have been babysitting since i was 12. I have 10 nieces and nephews, which is what originally began my babysitting career. Throughout high school, I worked with families and also had a job at an after school day care in the elementary schools in my school district. After high school, I attended Penn State University and then transferred to West Chester University where I studied elementary education. During this time, I spent my summers as a nanny, and still sporadically work with this family after 6 years. They are more like family to me than employers. I got my teaching degree in elementary ed, as well as middle school math and middle school English. I taught for 3 years; one year in Kindergarten, one year subbing grades K-12, and one year in 9th & Read more 12th grade math, until I realized my connection and passion with children is more emotional than academic, which led me to pursuing my masters in social work. I am looking for babysitting jobs, both steady and random, as a way to support myself through grad school. I look forward to hearing from you and seeing if we are a good fit for each other!
