Hi parents! My name is Carolyn and I am currently at Temple University studying Music Education (So working with kids is my specialty!). I am currently a music teacher at a few various establishments around center city, but only work weekends, and am looking to work more with children in my free time. For my degree, I have all my child clearances and am certified in CPR. Also, if you're interested in music lessons for your children on certain days, I'm sure we can arrange something. I've seen first-hand how studying the arts at an early age incredibly enhances intellect and interpersonal skills. As for working, (maybe thats a bad word for it, how about "spending time") with your children, I believe in treating them as my own. I hope to bond with them and create a lasting friendship. The youth of our society will grow to be tomorrows leaders, Read more so I believe in showing them as many things as possible. Outdoor activities (Hiking, swimming, biking...etc), museum visits, zoo trips, and free music concerts are what molded me most as a child, and I can't thank my parents enough. I hope to do the same with whatever family chooses to accept me. Educational values are learned along the way through these kinds of activities to create a wholesome, well-rounded individual! I am also tech savvy and am taking online classes myself, so in the age of Covid 19 and online learning, I can definitely be a big help! I promise to be fun, stern when necessary, and kind, while protecting your children as if they were my own.
