I started babysitting when I was 11 years old for my neighbors at the time- 4 children aged: 6 months, 2, 5 and 7 years. I have had several part-time babysitting jobs scattered throughout my life since then, but have most recently been employed, in the past few years, with nannying positions. I have cared for children in the age range of 3 months to 12 years, but the majority of my experience has been with little ones. My most recent nannying job entailed picking the children (ages 3 and 5) up from Montessori school, driving them home, guiding them through their after-school routine, as well as preparing dinner- Monday through Friday until later evening when their mother got home. I had to cover full snow days/sick days/holidays quite often as well. For what it's worth, aside from my 10 years of experience, I'm told that I'm a natural with Read more children (infants/toddlers in particular). I do feel that I am intuitive in sensing their needs and my #1 priority is to do my best to meet them!
