Hello! My name is Sana, I am a 24 year old student living in West Philadelphia, and I would love to provide extra care and support for your family! I have been working alongside kids since I turned 14, volunteering at my local art center while also babysitting. It was this experience that showed me the delight of childcare. Since then, I have worked in a martial arts after school program (I am a black belt), at a summer camp for transgender and nonbinary kids, a theatre camp, and in culinary training with kids, that I put together myself, which are just some of my favorites, and now I am a Montessori substitute. I have a certificate in trauma informed childcare too! I love learning with and guiding children in their development and offering extra help in the house for families who need it! I was raised by a single Read more mother with 3 little brothers, which I qualify as my unpaid training. I know how instrumental it can be for a family to have an extra hand to take on some of the responsibility, with tenderness and compassion. I love to play and run around, I love to read and help with homework (not maths though, your child will most likely embarrass me on that front), I love to cook and clean and craft! I take classes at The New School in New York City, where I am in the Bachelor Program for Adults and Returning Students. I study Liberal Arts with a focus in Affect Psychology and am in the Writing and Democracy Honors Program. I attend classes online and only have one class a week that meets, the rest are asynchronous.
