Hi there! I am an Early Childhood Educator in search of a Covid-safe family in the Philly area who are in need of a part-time caregiver. I strive to continuously educate myself on how to better care for young people; my own teaching philosophy is inspired by Montessori, Waldorf, and Reggio Emilia educational philosophies, as well as my teaching experiences both in-school (MIT's Childcare Center) and at-home care. My teaching is patient, empathetic, compassionate, and curious. I use ASL, art, feminism, anti-discrimination, body-positivity, literature, yoga, music, song-writing, and science in my work with children. Caring for and teaching children also means supporting parents, I will always offer nonjudgmental support to both parents and children, informed by my years of experience working with children and parents, and personal research on child development and child psychology.
