Meet Lexi

In addition to many years spent babysitting, during my career at Temple University, I was exposed to a wealth of knowledge taking courses in areas of study such as psychology, sociology, public health, human development (specifically child and adolescent development) and so much more. Those courses were extremely insightful, along with a specific and rigorous educational and professional training in the field of Social Work. In my final year of undergraduate studies, I was a Crisis Counselor at WOAR for a year. This position required me to fulfill a variety of roles which strengthened my interpersonal skills, communication skills, as well as crisis intervention and case management skills- even involving young children. I was able to develop and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers and supervisors. Not to mention, my experiences thus far in life have certainly shaped and continue to shape what I am most passionate about. Furthermore, as Read more a mother to a 15 month old that was born during the start of a global pandemic thus limiting the help from our “village”, I am well-versed in all things child-care related.
