Hi! My name is Emory and I am a freshman student at Drexel University. I have 6 years of experience working with newborns to pre-teens. I have been a lead summer camp counselor where I taught and was responsible for over a dozen four and five year olds for the last two years. For the last year and a half, I was a nanny at home in Nashville, Tennessee. I started when the youngest was two months, the middle was one and a half, and the oldest was five. I was there afternoon/evening caretaker every day of the week and watched them on weekends as well. From that position, I became well versed in balancing multiples (especially with two babies). I entertained the girls after school, helped with homework, made dinner, folded laundry, gave them baths, followed their nighttime routine, and put them to bed, as well as got their Read more things set up for the morning when Mom was getting them ready. Some additional responsibilities include driving/picking up from practice or play dates and dogsitting. As a college student, I have a very flexible schedule. I am also easily able to get anywhere in Philadelphia or the nearest suburbs. I am responsible, outgoing, patient, and very eager to continue working with children. I dream of becoming an educator one day, and I can’t wait to work for your family!
