Hello my name is Kelcie, I’m 25 years old and from Long Beach Island New Jersey. I recently moved to Philadelphia and have decided to take my love for children and helping family’s and turn it into a career. I have been a nanny for 3 families back in New Jersey while being in college and absolutely loved it. I am the oldest of 3 sibling with 14 years between me and my youngest brother. My mom always called me her built in babysitter and while most teenagers would groan at that, I loved it! I loved being around my baby brother and helping my family out when I could while also building a beautiful bond with me and my brothers from spending so much time with them. Once I turned 20 I began babysitting for a family that lived near my college. I would pick their children up from Read more school after classes, help with homework, and begin the nigh-time routine for them until their parents were able to come home. During covid I began working for a family of two nurses. I helped their 4 children with homeschooling while everything was virtual. I created a schedule for the boys, meal times, playtime/ outdoor “recess”, and invented some fun learning activities to keep them entertained while maintaining some sense of normalcy and discipline during a weird time. After that I worked in a few fields but my love for children had always bled into every aspect of work I have done. I am currently CPR certified, up to date in vaccinations, and ready to help your family with a nudging hand and a want for a genuine bond with them.
