I'm Katie, the Founder & Executive Director of a bilingual preschool and elementary school in Latin America. I'm currently transitioning back to living in the US and seeking a childcare job while I get established. I have worked in education for over 10 years, working directly with students of all ages as a teacher and nanny (newborns and up), starting & directing a school, and training hundreds of educators. My specialty in early childhood education is the Pikler approach of physiologically respectful development. The method is based on providing the child with your full attention, developing a relationship of trust, and allowing them to initiate their own movement (Freedom of Movement).
