Erin R., Nanny in Phoenixville, PA 19460 with 25 years of paid experience

I am a career nanny with over 20 years of experience. I am also a certified newborn care specialist and postpartum doula. I have two children of my own, they are 12 and 14. I live in Havertown and I do both day and overnight work. While I have worked with children of all ages, infants are my speciality. I typically take contracts that are one year or less and often work the gap between maternity leave and daycare. I am often the first person families leave with their baby. I have all of my vaccinations, am CPR/First Aid certified and have up to date clearances. I have my own reliable car and I am very prompt and professional. My new position is part time, so I will update my availability for the days and nights that I am free. I’m happy to work with infants or infants and newborns

Clara M., Nanny in Phoenixville, PA 19460 with 9 years of paid experience

Hello! My name is Clara, and I am a 25-year-old new grad Registered Nurse (RN) in Pediatrics. I received my first BS in Psychology at Haverford College in 2022, and went back to school for an accelerated BS in Nursing at Villanova University in 2023-2024. I just earned my RN licensure in September 2024, and will be working full-time in Pediatric critical care this October! I have nearly 10 years of babysitting and nannying experience in both the private home-care and professional academic sectors, and have been so fortunate to amass an incredible circle of clients that have followed me through many years and much growth. I love this work and I feel incredibly excited and blessed to be able to expand my experience and passion into the healthcare sector. I am still working regularly for many of my long-time clients — even with nursing on the horizon, I am still excited and motivated to continue my "home" jobs and enjoy a change of pace from the rigor of the hospital setting. While I am not currently able to accept any full-time or regular-recurring new clients, due to my full-time schedule at the hospital, I would be glad to chat regarding occasional babysitting needs and opportunities for date nights, weekends, holidays, etc. I am still open to taking clients on in this capacity, and would be glad to connect on this front!! :) (Please note: due to my years of experience and my RN licensure, I can assure you that I will provide a high tier of attentive, customized, educated care for your children of all ages and unique intricacies. As such, my starting rate at this time is now $28/hr. Please feel free to send me a message if you would like to discuss my scale for multiple children and inquire about options. Thank you so much for your understanding in advance).

Gale C., Nanny in Phoenixville, PA 19460 with 7 years of paid experience

I am seeking either full-time or part-time caregiving or babysitting jobs in the area. I am willing to babysit in the Exton, West Chester, Downingtown, Malvern and the Chester Springs area. My schedule is very flexible since all five of my children have moved out on their own. My background: I homeschooled my children to 8th grade (some other them but not all). I was a Sunday School teacher for many years to teenaged girls and elementary grade levels. I studied Special Education and Computer Science. Ended up programming computers for over 20 years. I always wanted to teach and be a caregiver even though Software Developing served my family well. I now am fulfilling my desires as a Substitute teacher of all ages and I am a part time care giver to a lady with Parkinson's Disease. I also babysit for many families and can provide a lot of references. Really enjoy taking care of people and giving them a good quality of life. I was a personal trainer and love helping others exercise as well. Since I am a Substitute Teacher all my security clearances and background checks are up to date. As a result of being in the corporate world I have an appreciation for working moms/dads that struggle with juggling work and family. I love helping others because I really remember how hard it was to be at work (especially in IT) and to take care of children. I am very athletic. I absolutely love biking, running, yoga and swimming. I work out every day. I am very energetic by nature. Please email if you have any questions about my past babysitting or caregiving experiences. Thanks, Gale

I am a very patient, yet energetic babysitter who is always up for playing games, going outside, and creativity. I have been babysitting for over 5 years consistently and have experience with all ages! I believe that fun can sometimes be a little messy, but I always leave the house as clean, or even cleaner than I entered it. I am currently in college studying Biology on a Premed track and hope to work in Pediatrics. I am a former CPR/AED trainer/instructor, so am very familiar with lifesaving skills. Please feel free to reach out to me! I look forward to meeting you!

Katie S., Nanny in Phoenixville, PA 19460 with 34 years of paid experience

Hi! My name is Katie, and I am a single mom to 2 kids (now young adults 😩)! I have so much love to give, and hope I can give some to your kids too! I was working at an in-home daycare from 2017-2020, but we were closed down due to Covid-19, and my boss then made the decision to not re-open. I LOVED my job mostly bc I loved the kids! I used to own my own daycare back in early 2005- late 2006 but moved to PA from NH and had to close it down. After the daycare closed (in 2020), I spent the next 3 years nannying for 2 different families from the daycare- part time each- for kids the ages of 4 months, 1, 2, 3, 6, and 7 (when I started). Most recently have 2 families with 2 kids each- ages 2, 3, 3, and 5- (started when they were 1 week old, 1, 1 and 3). To give you an idea how I run things- a typical day will look like this: I like to keep the kids on a routine- morning free play, snack, walk (if the neighborhood allows for this with sidewalks etc), craft or coloring sheet/worksheet, lunch, dance “party” usually follows lunch, could be a video with a dance they love like freeze dance or shake your sillies out or we’ll play a board game or do flash cards or puzzles, playtime, storytime, nap time for littles (if there are any), harder craft/games for older kids who don’t nap if they want one, quiet activities if not, I also utilize this time to clean up morning mess and the kitchen from lunch etc. Then it's end of nap time (2 hours), snack, outside play (chalk, bubbles, hopscotch, water games when it's hot etc). I bring all the stuff for crafts, games, and outside play. I also utilize a “prize bucket” if the kids have trouble with listening or getting into routine with the rest of the kids (if there are any). I firmly believe in positive reinforcement over punishment so every time they show good listening skills or do something helpful, they get to pick a prize out of the bucket. For older kids (ages 4+), it works a little differently but still get prizes. I also really enjoy taking the kids to activities/events away from home. We regularly visit local parks, libraries, indoor play places. I will be available Tuesday, Thursday, and weekends starting in June and then also M,W,F starting mid-August. I can start/end whatever hours you need. 😊
