I am currently 24 and recently moved to the Shadyside area in Pittsburgh from North Carolina. I attended NC State University and received a degree in Education in 2013. Throughout college I would nanny part-time throughout the year and during the summer and throughly enjoyed being with kids! I've always been naturally drawn to children and definitely have a passion for working with them. I love getting to create a relationship with kids, watch them grow and their personalities develop and being someone they can depend on and look up to. While in college I knew I wanted to work with kids when I graduated but wasn't sure in what capacity. I considered going into teaching but I have come to discover that I enjoy more of an interaction with kids in a smaller setting where there can be more one on one time. After graduating, I accepted a nanny Read more position with two girls, ages 2 and 5, and I was with them for close to 3 years before moving. I absolutely loved being their nanny and I grew to love them like they were my own family! Being able to watch them grow and go through different stages and become my little buddies brought me so much joy and confirmed the passion I have for caring for kids. I hope to find another family that will welcome me in and allow me to love on and care for their children now that I have moved here to Pittsburgh!

Brooke was our full time nanny for ~ 3 years. Our 2 girls loved and respected Brooke from the very beginning. We were all devastated when Brooke moved to PA. About Brooke: Responsible, Trust Worthy, Sincere, Patient, Creative, Fun, Caring, Supportive, Encouraging, and Reliable. Brooke played with the girls, helped with homework, made healthy lunches and snacks, helped get the girls ready for school (hair/clothes,etc), and planned fun activities. Brooke went to many of the girl's events when she was "off duty" like recitals, birthday parties and swim meets. She cared for our girls like they were her own. Brooke loves animals and helped care for our handicapped dog in his final months. Caring for our girls did not seem like a job for her: she genuinely loved being with our girls and she genuinely cared about their growth and development. The girls would be sad at the end of each day when she had to leave. Life has been hard since Brooke moved but we will cherish the memories and I am thankful that someone as amazing as Brooke influenced my children for so long.
