Hello! My name is Mahrissa. I am 30 years old and I can confidently say that I am a motivated, organized, hard worker. I live in squirrel hill with quick access to 376 and most city neighborhoods. I've been helping out my current nanny family for date nights, overnight stays, and last minute fill in's. I also do house and dog sitting for them as they travel often, so if you have animals, that's even better! I currently work in the psych unit at a hospital three days a week working 12 hour shifts. I am a full time student (online) for clinical psychology. I am on the path for a doctorate program pursing my PsyD. I am looking for a family who needs a flexible nanny. I am great at time management, and creating effective schedules for everyone. I love doing fun outside activities like going on hikes, swimming, Read more obstacle courses, visiting the science center, all museums, and scavenger hunts. I think creativity is such an important skill for a child to have, and there are so many fun ways I can work that in with your kids - painting, reading, creative writing, practicing our Spanish, ect. Emotional intelligence and problem solving through exploration is one of my key tenets as well. I love to listen to the kids and how they are feeling to try and help teach them skills to cope, as well as emotional regulation techniques. If your family needs help with meal prep (I am a great cook) or laundry and other household chores I can definitely assist with those as well.
