We used to have a loving nanny in our home for a while and she was amazing! We moved states not long ago and now our daughter (who recently turned 3) is in daycare but I truly miss her around. I have felt called recently to quit my job so that I can offer care to littles and to teach my girly about the Bible and Jesus while she is young and soaking so much in. If you are looking for a gentle and loving home for your child and want a Christian influence (by no means am I perfect, nor is my family) but I will seek to honor that desire and respect your wishes for your child. I am a lawyer by trade, but have experience babysitting, helping with church childcare, and volunteering at an orphanage while in college. I am 31 years old and will be getting Read more my CPR and first aid certification soon. Our family lives in north Baldwin. If I nanny for one family, I could work in your home. I could also do a hybrid schedule where my daughter and I come to your home some days, and other days you drop off at my home. If you have a dog, I may not be able to come there because my daughter has a fear of dogs. We can test it though. This price will include breakfasts, lunches, morning and afternoon snacks, and field trips to the science center, Carnegie museums, and Phipps conservatory with our paid family passes. We will also visit the library regularly for story times and new books, as well as parks because I love to be outside. I will be teaching from a Christian Pre-K curriculum, sharing Bible memory verses and songs, and incorporating Montessori methods for math and reading as well. We love to do arts and crafts daily, music, baking, reading books, playing board games, and science experiments. Currently watching caterpillars turn into butterflies 🦋 I have a schedule I follow daily and weekly to provide routine and predictability so your child feels safe and excited for what’s coming up! I will be doing circle time and lessons, but a lot of play and outside time too. We don’t do screen time at our home. My daughter usually naps from 1:30 - 3.
