I have Loved children as far back as I can remember. My father became very ill when I was 9 yrs old and I took over caring for my infant sister and 2 brothers. This went on for 5 years until his passing. It was so natural for me to love and care for babies and children. They seem to always take to me. I have 2 sons that are amazing men and they always tell me what a great mom I was to them . With my first child I was able to stay home. I also babysat for a friend of mine who had her son 3 months after my son was born. So I took care of 2 infants for 1 year. Financially I had to get a full time job as a dental assistant and worked at the same job for 31 years. Now I am Read more retired from the dental field and would like to take care of children b/c of my Love for little ones and the happiness and joy they bring to my heart. I also work with the children at church. I worked in the nursery and I teach 9 year old Awana girls on Wednesday nights. I remember having to place my babies in day care and all I wanted was for someone to genuinely have a passion for children and to see my child as a precious treasure. This is what I have to offer to another parent.
