I studied early childhood in college, but we had a surprise when we found out we were pregnant with our first baby. We thought it was best for us at the time for me to stay home. We had two more children, so I was a stay at home mom for 21 years. When my daughter was a junior in high school I went back to work. I worked at a charter school in Pickens, and then went to work at a preschool in Clemson for 2.5 years. Since then I have been working for a preschool in Central. This past October we were blessed to have our first grandchild, a little girl. We are so in love with her. Children are a blessing and I love to watch them learn and through the years I feel they have taught me just as much as I have taught them.
