Hello! My name is Cardesha Crawford and I’ve been in childcare for a little over 8 years!. I have a 1 year old daughter named Aríel and a 6 year old stepdaughter named Tyrea. I recently relocated to Columbia Sc, from Jacksonville, Fl (born and raised in Philadelphia, Pa) for a new beginning with my family! I am the third oldest of seven siblings and always had a passion of helping others and I am currently taking classes online at fortis college. I consider myself to be courteous, loving, adventurous, reliable and fun. When it comes to children, you have to consider all varieties of there characteristics to ensure your childcare provider enforces safety, and providing fun activities throughout the day for children to develop fine motor skills and that your children are having fun as well! My passion for childcare started in church around 2009 when I became a Read more member of my church and volunteered for a position in the infant nursery. Soon after I began working as a teachers assistant/ floater in a program called AWANA. I also was a camp director for VBS. In 2015-2016, I worked at the Salvation Army with a variety of age groups. I’ve also nannied for two lovely families and have also worked in two private preschool facilities, Amazing Kids Academy in Philadelphia being my last job before moving to Jacksonville. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family and getting quality time in, whether it’s reading to the kids, going for nature walks , or planning new learning activities!. It may sound like a cliche, but I believe Compassion and understanding are paramount. A great nanny has a nurturing spirit. All the great qualities that I possess. I want to believe that I bake a difference when it comes to the welfare of a child. When I see a child accomplish a goal or achieve a milestone, it brings me great joy. Especially when I can share that joy with their parents and leave knowing I made a difference.
