I have been nannying/babysitting and loving every second of it for as long as I can remember (and also pet-sitting!). I am a 28 year old college graduate, and I have what seems like eons of childcare experience, but is closer to 17 years unless family counts... in which case it is 22 years. When I was 6 I was blessed with 5 cousins born in the same year, and I jumped at every chance to feed them or change their diapers etc, and of course my aunts and uncles were happy to oblige, so I quickly became a pro :) I began babysitting for several families in the area as soon as I was old enough. My first long term gig was for the (then) head principle of Fort Dorchester HS's 2 baby girls from when I was in middle school through high school. As you can imagine, he Read more had plenty of young ladies to choose from, but he knew me to be responsible, loving, and trustworthy. I continued to nanny and babysit through college and beyond and I even served as a live-in au-pair in Florence, Italy. I adore children and find great joy in their fresh outlook and new ways they experience life. Watching a newborn's personality develop or helping to guide young children as they grow and learn is the most fulfilling experience that I have had thus far, and I look very much forward to becoming a nanny again. I enjoy playing games, outdoor activities, arts and crafts, science experiments, and reading to kids. I have cared for twins & triplets, children who speak different languages, and for children ranging from newborn to early high school. I am happy to help keep the house tidy and cook or do any meal prep that may be necessary as well. I will have open availability beginning in January, as well as some time in the upcoming week.
