Hi! My name is Ally! Working with children has always been my passion and something that has come quite naturally to me. Starting as early as middle school, I began working with children as a volunteer at various summer camps in many different under resourced areas to help to spread joy to a diverse group of children. I quickly learned that children were my passion, so I dedicated every summer of high school, and even through college, to work/volunteer with children in some capacity. I loved my experiences interacting with children so much that I decided that I wanted to make a career out of it as a Child Life Specialist. To begin the process of becoming a Child Life Specialist, I volunteered for 150+ hours at my local chidren's hospital where I was able to support and comfort new children every day. Along with this, I worked as an Read more ABA Therapist where I was able to care for multiple children with ASD while teaching them important life and behavior skills in the comfort of their own homes. These many experiences allowed me to learn how a wide variety of children function, how to react to countless positive and negative situations, and how to best promote the well being of the child. To tell you a bit more about myself, I have just recently graduated from Clemson University and plan to attend graduate school in the fall to obtain my Master's Degree in Child Life. I have a very bubbly personality, and an overall happy and uplifting spirit. I am creative which helps me to find unique ways to keep children happy and entertained. I also have a comforting presence, allowing me to be able to calm and comfort children in difficult times. With all of this being said, I am looking to babysit or nanny for the summer.
