To whom it may concern, My name is Juliana Morris and I am currently seeking part- to full-time employment in the Charleston, South Carolina area. I bring with me extensive experience working with children in school, camp, and home settings. I am currently attending school online and wish to continue my education throughout employment. Most recently, I have worked with children at the pre-primary level at a private Montessori Academy where I was trained in Montessori pedagogy. The principles of Montessori education are something that I am extremely passionate about and practicing them has allowed me to meet the social, emotional, and developmental needs of all children that I work with. I ensure that all interactions with children in my care are from a foundation of respect, understanding, and compassion. Allowing children the opportunity for independence while also enforcing boundaries has provided me with the ability to meet both child Read more and caregiver needs. I believe that these skills have given me the opportunity to help children explore their environments and gain confidence in their abilities while also providing positive behavior management strategies and a sense of community.  I have a passion for educating children both within and outside of the classroom. I enjoy spending time outdoors, finding opportunities for continued growth, and sharing my love of the arts with the children I have the privilege of working with.
