I began working with children in college when I was a summer camp coach and local youth coach for soccer. I played soccer in college and always enjoyed our work with children. My original major in college was physical education but switched to fitness specialist due to schedule conflicts. I just moved to Charlotte in January and before living in Charlotte I was a high school physical education teacher and coach in Connecticut. I also worked with our pre-school program on certain days when they would come to the gym. Once I moved to Charlotte I began working at a company called Soccer Shots. This is a company that encourages physical activity for children aged 2-8 years old. I am also currently the Head girls soccer coach at Charlotte Country Day School and coach for Charlotte Soccer Academy. I am a big believer in getting the kids out of the house and outdoors playing and having fun as much as possible!
