Hi! My name is Michelle and I’m looking to be a loving and fun full time nanny for a great family. I’m currently working for a family with 4 children ( 2 year old twins, 7 year old and 14 year old) and have been with them for over two years now. I would be able to start after September 9th as the twins will be starting school the first week in September. I’ve grown very attached to this family and consider their home my home too. A little about me. I was born and raised in Columbus Ohio and have worked for two hospitals in Columbus over the course of 20 years. I have taken the CPR classes so many times I feel I could teach the class. When I moved to the Charlotte area I was employed for 2 years with a dental office and enjoyed learning new Read more skills and meeting new people. I decided to take the dental assistant class and while I was in school to become a DA the wonderful opportunity to become a nanny for this amazing family was offered to me. It has been the most rewarding and fulfilling experience! I find myself smiling and laughing all day with the children while we play or read books etc. I feel nannying is my true calling and I love every minute! I’m also an animal lover and dog sit for many different families. I also have a cat named Mia who is spoiled rotten. The best pet is a spoiled pet. My current family has a dog and I give him love and treats on a daily basis. A typical day with the twins starts with breakfast and they play while I clean up the kitchen. The kids get dressed and then we take a 1-2 mile walk. Luckily Charlotte has beautiful weather. We come back home and play outside or inside until lunch. Nap time after lunch ( including 5 or 6 stories) and then snack time and more playing. TV time is minimal. The twins are currently working on stringing together words and we are working on colors and numbers. It’s so rewarding to hear them say a new word or learn something new. While the twins are napping I vacuum, mop, do laundry and clean their room and bathroom. Sometimes I start dinner and clean the kitchen.
