I like being a nanny because children are great company at times but I know sometimes parents need a break. I do want children of my own one day but for now I will love on the children of others and animals. I raised my niece starting at the age of 14 for the first few years of her life. She is now 5 years old and truly one of my best friends. I like being a nanny because I actually enjoy the feeling of being responsible of the children. I have a 6 month old niece who lives with me and I take care of her weekly. I am more experienced with babies, toddlers and younger children but I am not opposed to being a nanny to older children! I am currently working as a camp counselor at the YMCA and am working with children of all ages. I Read more will be CPR certified by the end of summer. I am available Monday-Thursday 5-10 and Friday mornings 7-4. Those hours correlate with my schedule for college so I may have more availability during the spring semester.
