Hello. I am a 66 year old woman. I presently work as a teacher for Christian Learning Center of the Upstate with Palmetto Middle School. I have found this job to be quite a blessing, but would like to move into a job with less challenges and more stability. I have been a nanny in the past to my niece’s two children as well as rearing my own son, age 35, who is now a medical doctor. I have two wonderful grandchildren ages eight and six that I see as much as possible. That is the extent of my experience as a child caregiver. I have and always have had, a great love for the little ones. So when I started working with Release Time in 2007, I was taken out of my comfort zone. Working with middle schoolers, I learned quickly to have a tough hide and a tender Read more heart. But God has given me the grace to relate to all age children. I build a good “working” relationship with children of all ages by showing them respect and expecting it in return. On a more personal note, I have been a Christian since I was six years old. I love the Lord, and try to serve Him in all my actions. Thanks for your consideration.
